Super-insulating Newent and Villages (SIN&V) project

This is an exciting and ambitious project to reduce the carbon footprint of over 6,000 homes. Indeed, its claims to be a “first” and “ground-breaking” look fully justified. I went to the inaugural public meeting in Kempley village hall a couple of days ago.



Newent is a small market town just across the Herefordshire/Gloucestershire border, about 9 miles from Ross-on-Wye. It has had a very active transition movement running for the last two years.
